Ministerial Talks, Case Selected | NetDragon Shines at the World Digital Education Conference

From May 11 to 13, the 2026 World Digital Education Conference, jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, was held at the Hangzhou International Expo Center. Han Zheng, Vice President of the People's Republic of China, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

Under the theme "AI + Education: Transformation, Development, Governance," the conference attracted over 500 international participants, including the Director-General of UNESCO, education ministers from multiple countries, heads of international organizations, Nobel and Fields Medal laureates, and presidents of world-renowned universities. Together, they explored global trends and emerging opportunities in "AI + Education," discussed how artificial intelligence can drive systemic educational transformation and high-quality development, and examined the construction of an inclusive, safe, and sustainable new landscape for global education governance.

As a deeply engaged participant in the global digital education field, NetDragon was invited to attend multiple agenda items at the conference. Chen Changjie, Vice President of NetDragon, represented the company at the opening ceremony.

Deepening International Cooperation in Digital Education, Continuously Empowering Global Educational Transformation

During the conference, Chen Changjie, Vice President of NetDragon, met with the Minister of Education of the Republic of Serbia on behalf of NetDragon. This meeting was a dedicated working session during the Serbian Education Minister's visit to China. The two sides focused on the previously signed Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Cooperation in Education, conducted a live demonstration of the Open-Q Tesla national AI education ecosystem platform, and reached consensus on the project's strategic positioning, technical capabilities, localization adaptation, and subsequent implementation arrangements.

Previously, NetDragon had established national-level cooperation with Serbia. In 2020, NetDragon signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Serbia on the planning of smart education development in Serbia, assisting in the construction of smart learning environments. NetDragon also co-established the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Education Center with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Serbia and the Teacher Education Faculty of the University of Belgrade, with approximately 4,000 teachers across Serbia currently undergoing training in phases.

Notably, during the conference's opening ceremony, the Serbian Minister of Education specifically mentioned the education cooperation project with NetDragon, affirming the joint efforts of both sides in building a national-level education platform.

Participating in Global AI Education Standards Development, Contributing to Global Digital Education Standardization

On the morning of May 11, the 2026 General Assembly of the World Digital Education Alliance was convened. Representatives from multiple international organizations, including the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education, the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie, the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization, and the British Educational Technology Association, as well as global universities and enterprises, attended the meeting. Yu Jihong, Chairperson of the World Digital Education Alliance and President of Beijing Normal University, delivered concluding remarks. Chen Changjie, Vice President of NetDragon, attended on behalf of the company.

NetDragon also participated in the World Digital Education Alliance Standards Committee. As a member unit of the Standards Committee, NetDragon contributed to the release of two important AI education standards: "Artificial Intelligence Application Systems in Education" and "AI-Empowered Smart Campus Basic Elements."

Selected as Top 4 in Global Top 10 Innovation Cases, Creating a New Paradigm for AI-Empowered Teachers

At the conference's closing ceremony, the "Top 10 World Digital Education Innovation Cases" were announced. The project "E-Library for Teachers: AI-Enhanced Professional Development for Educators," a collaboration between NetDragon and the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (UNESCO IITE), stood out from over 500 global practical achievements and ranked fourth.

In July 2022, UNESCO IITE, in partnership with NetDragon, officially launched the online platform "E-Library for Teachers" (E-library). The platform provides a centralized, open-access digital resource repository for high-quality teacher professional development, enhancing teachers' AI literacy through specialized courses, free resources, and exchange communities. It promotes the ethical, human-centered, and inclusive application of AI in education, strengthens digital capabilities at the classroom level, and assists member states in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Three Technical Solutions Selected for Excellent Case Collection, Empowering Global Education Digitalization Across Multiple Dimensions

Additionally, three of NetDragon's technical solutions were successfully selected for the 2026 World Digital Education Conference Technical Solutions Excellent Case Collection.

At the AI infrastructure level, the Open-Q platform features multi-agent collaborative scheduling, UGC education content co-creation, and personalized intelligent learning companions as its core capabilities, enabling a full-chain AI education upgrade from intelligent learning and content production to growth systems. Leveraging core technologies such as large language models, the platform builds an AI content production pipeline that can scalably generate various educational content, including learning objectives, syllabi, courseware, and assessments. Paired with a multilingual localization engine, it achieves cross-regional adaptation and distribution of educational content, providing globally deployable intelligent learning content production solutions for educational institutions worldwide.

In the area of regional education digital transformation, NetDragon launched the Thailand Digital Education Development Project. By integrating AI-enhanced classrooms, self-directed learning labs, and the career development companion Zuno, the project promotes a learner-centered ecosystem that bridges the gap between school education and lifelong career development. NetDragon has signed an agreement with Thailand's Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) to support Thailand in building a future-ready talent pool. The technologies employed in this solution have also been deployed at scale globally, providing replicable models for modernizing education systems in other countries.

In the smart teaching hardware sector, NetDragon's Promethean ActivPanel 10, a new-generation smart interactive whiteboard, breaks down teaching space limitations, enabling a more immersive and connected learning environment while further enhancing the intelligence level of teaching scenarios.

These three selected solutions span multiple dimensions including AI infrastructure, regional education digital transformation, and smart teaching hardware, systematically demonstrating NetDragon's comprehensive capabilities and global footprint in the digital education field, while also providing replicable and scalable "NetDragon solutions" for global digital education practice.

NetDragon's presence at the 2026 World Digital Education Conference not only showcased its comprehensive strength as a deeply engaged participant in the global digital education field but also highlighted the mission and commitment of Chinese educational technology enterprises to advance educational equity and quality improvement. Standing at the new starting point of the inaugural year of the "15th Five-Year Plan," NetDragon will continue to be driven by core technologies such as artificial intelligence, working hand in hand with global partners to promote educational transformation and innovation in the intelligent era, contributing NetDragon's wisdom and strength to building a more equitable, inclusive, and high-quality digital education ecosystem.
