Multiple NetDragon Experts Invited to Global Education Event to Explore New Paradigms

From August 18th to 20th, the 2025 Global Smart Education Conference was held in Beijing. The conference was jointly organized by Beijing Normal University (BNU) and the UNESCO IITE (Institute for Information Technologies in Education). Wu Yan, Vice Minister of Education of the People's Republic of China, and Yu Jihong, Academician and President of BNU, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. Dr. Liu Dejian, Co-Dean of the Smart Learning Institute of Beijing Normal University (SLI-BNU) and Chairman of NetDragon, and Dr. Simon Leung, Vice Chairman of NetDragon, were invited to attend the opening ceremony and deliver speeches.

The 2025 Global Smart Education Conference was held in Beijing.

Vice Minister of Education Wu Yan and President of BNU, Academician Yu Jihong, visited NetDragon's exhibition area accompanied by Prof. Huang Ronghuai, Co-Dean of SLI-BNU, and acknowledged NetDragon's AI application achievements and capabilities.

Dr. Liu Dejian, Chairman of NetDragon, delivered a speech at the conference opening ceremony via his Avatar and appeared as the initiator of the Global Smart Education Innovation Award at the closing ceremony's award presentation.

Smart Education: Pathways to Education 2050" was also released as a key outcome of the conference. This publication is part of the "Smart Education Development Series" edited by Professor Huang Ronghuai, Co-Dean of SLI-BNU and UNESCO Chairholder on Artificial Intelligence and Education, dedicated to building consensus and galvanizing action for an equitable, open, and sustainable new education ecosystem.

Prof. Huang Ronghuai released the key outcome "Smart Education: Pathways to Education 2050" via his Avatar at the opening ceremony.

As one of the main co-organizers, NetDragon has been deeply involved in the Global Smart Education Conference for ten consecutive years. NetDragon Senior Vice Presidents Lin Wei, Yu Biao, and Chen Hong, and Vice President Chen Changjie, as expert representatives in different fields, were invited to attend multiple parallel sessions and deliver keynote speeches, contributing ideas and suggestions for smart education.

NetDragon also showcased innovative products and AI application capabilities in the field of smart education at the conference, including EDA, the AI Production Center, and AI Digital Humans, which attracted widespread attention from attendees.

Mr. Kaviraj Sukon, Minister of Tertiary Education, Science and Research of Mauritius, visited NetDragon's exhibition area and expressed interest in the application of AR technology in future digital education.

The conference, themed "Human-AI Collaboration: Reshaping the Educational Ecosystem for the Future," attracted over 500 international and domestic guests and more than 2,200 on-site participants. Prominent institutions and elites in the global smart education field attended. Key UNESCO system institutions, including UNESCO Headquarters, six Category 1 Institutes, twelve UNESCO Chairs, and the UNESCO Global Alliance on the Science of Learning for Education, participated deeply.

Dr. Liu Dejian, Co-Dean of SLI-BNU and Chairman of NetDragon, proposed in his opening speech that ideal future education should possess the "3E" traits: More Effective, More Efficient, and More Engaging, and be centered on the "individual learner," emphasizing personalized, immersive, and gamified learning experiences. Currently, leveraging the AI Production Center and the EDA platform, NetDragon is committed to producing "engaging" high-quality educational resources. In the future, NetDragon looks forward to collaborating with more educational organizations, institutions, and experts to co-create and share high-quality educational resources.

Dr. Simon Leung, Vice Chairman of NetDragon, stated in his opening speech that amidst the consensus among global education organizations to reshape the future learning landscape, NetDragon's EDA is committed to promoting a new education ecosystem characterized by equity, technology empowerment, and global collaboration. EDA has educational bases and resource creation centers worldwide, gathering global experts, renowned teachers, and skilled artisans to lead educational trends. It provides learners, educators, and content creators with a metaverse learning platform, teaching platform, and co-creation platform, offering open, high-quality public digital learning resources for all, achieving more equitable and high-quality education, and serving as an open teaching and learning platform for a new era.

NetDragon Senior Vice President Lin Wei was invited to the "Integration of Science and Industry with Education" session and delivered a keynote speech titled "NetDragon's Industry-University-Research Collaborative Innovation." He systematically introduced NetDragon's strategic layout and core strengths in the global digital education field, shared innovative achievements like the EDA platform, AI Production Center, and metaverse crowdsourcing platform, explained the online-offline integrated lifelong education and training system, and engaged in in-depth exchanges with guests on NetDragon's practical achievements in promoting industry-education integration and market transformation.

Yu Biao, NetDragon Senior Vice President and Chairman of the Board of Fuzhou Software Technology Vocational College, was invited to deliver a keynote speech titled "Difficulties and Solutions in School-Enterprise Cooperation during Digital Transformation" at the "Digital Transformation of Vocational Education" session. Using Fuzhou Software Technology Vocational College as an example, he shared innovative practices and successful cases in industry-education integration, offered constructive suggestions on optimizing majors and resource allocation in school-enterprise cooperation during digital transformation, and provided a referenceable development path for the digital transformation of vocational education.

NetDragon Senior Vice President Chen Hong was invited to deliver a keynote speech titled "AI-Enabled Lifelong Learning Platforms: More Timely, Comprehensive, and Fun" at the "Digital Empowerment for Lifelong Learning" session. He analyzed the challenges traditional education models face in the current job market and, based on NetDragon's innovative practices with the AI Production Center, elaborated on how AI is reshaping lifelong learning platforms and driving fundamental changes in learning methods. He proposed that AI technology is pushing education towards a "continuous and borderless" future form; while AI poses challenges to learning and work, it also constitutes a key solution for future-oriented education.

NetDragon Vice President Chen Changjie was invited to speak at the "AI Education - Science Education - STEM Education for Primary and Secondary Schools" session, delivering a speech titled "Making Learning as Fun as Playing Games". Using the latest Rokid AI glasses as a smart prompting device, he vividly demonstrated NetDragon's cutting-edge exploration in AI education through an immersive tech experience. Using the educational application scenarios of NetDragon's AI Production Center and the innovative teaching mode of the AR Building Blocks Sandbox as examples, he explained how to integrate gamified thinking into the educational process to create more immersive and interactive learning experiences.

During the conference, NetDragon also showcased EDA, the AI Production Center, Space Cat Lab, AI Digital Human interaction, Rokid AR, and other innovative products as well as AI application capabilities in the smart education field, which received widespread recognition from domestic and international education experts.

NetDragon's exhibition area attracted widespread attention from education experts at the conference.

To serve the production of high-quality 3E educational content, NetDragon has established an AI Production Center. The "Expert System + AI Node" approach enables efficient, standardized, and personalized production of educational content. The center supports the adaptation of educational resources for different countries and regions, and multi-language, multi-cultural output. The marginal production cost can be reduced to just hundreds of RMB, and the production time for a single piece of content can be shortened to within one hour.

Previously, NetDragon reached a strategic cooperation with the globally renowned AR company Rokid on AR glasses applications. The application potential of Augmented Reality technology in education, corporate promotion, product introduction, and digital entertainment was also showcased at this exhibition, attracting visiting guests who eagerly tried the experience.

Dr. Käthe Schneider, Chair Professor at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Germany, experienced the Rokid AR glasses at NetDragon's exhibition area.

Additionally, NetDragon's AI Rotating CEO, Tang Yu, made her debut at this exhibition in holographic form for the first time, demonstrating the ability for real-time dialogue with humans after connecting to the AIGC dialogue model, while also showcasing the application achievements of NetDragon's AI Digital Human related technology in fields like education and cultural tourism. NetDragon's Space Cat Lab is a virtual physics experiment tool specifically designed for K-12 students, integrating a highly simulated experimental environment and an intuitive, user-friendly operation interface to help students deeply understand and master physics principles through virtual practice, enhancing their experimental skills and scientific inquiry abilities.

Since 2015, NetDragon and Beijing Normal University (BNU) have been jointly committed to the development of innovative design education and digital education. They co-established the Smart Learning Institute of Beijing Normal University (SLI-BNU), jointly building a comprehensive platform for scientific research, technological development, and educational teaching experiments, focusing on studying learning patterns in information-based environments and creating smart learning environments that support lifelong learning. Based on NetDragon's self-developed "Design Methodology," the institute developed and formed courses such as "Designing and Learning," and both parties jointly released the "Designing and Learning" international course. Furthermore, the institute and NetDragon jointly held events like the "Smart Learning: Design Education Academic Week" and the "48H Education Design Competition," co-published reports such as "Analysis of Informatized Classroom Teaching Behaviors," and joined hands to promote the development of innovative design education and digital education.

Additionally, the finals of the K-12 track of the 8th Global Competition on Design for Future Education were held as part of the conference series. NetDragon's Star Epoch Academy won the first prize in the contest, which was jointly organized by Beijing Normal University and the UNESCO IITE, thanks to its innovative design thinking and technological innovation capabilities.

Using NetDragon's self-developed digital human character editor, NetDragon generated exclusive digital human avatars for nearly 500 speaking guests at the conference.

Previously, NetDragon also designed the virtual IP images "Xiao Zhi" and "Xiao Hui" for the Global Smart Education Conference and created the conference song "Light of Education." This year, leveraging its advantages in digital technology and IP operation, NetDragon further updated the conference song and created new digital assets for "Xiao Zhi" and "Xiao Hui," further assisting the brand communication of the Global Smart Education Conference.
