The Only Private Enterprise! NetDragon's Vocational Education Overseas Project Selected for "Thousand Sails Set Sail" 2024 Key List

Recently, the Ministry of Commerce and five other departments jointly released the 2024 "Thousand Sails Set Sail" action plan, and NetDragon's vocational education overseas project (Thailand) was successfully included in the 2024 key list. Among the six projects from Fujian Province selected, it is the only project from a private enterprise.

 

The "Thousand Sails Set Sail" plan is an important initiative to promote the high-quality development of foreign cultural trade, better serve the construction of a new development pattern and a culturally strong nation. The theme for this plan is "Set Sail with Culture, Build Bridges for Trade Cooperation". The plan aims to discover and cultivate a group of cultural trade enterprises with solid foundations, strong growth potential, and competitiveness. It also seeks to solidify and create a number of platforms that have both incubation and promotion functions for foreign cultural trade, continuously increasing the international market share of high-quality Chinese cultural products and services, enhancing the international influence of Chinese culture, and boosting the soft power of culture to support the construction of a culturally and economically strong China.

 

As a pioneer and trailblazer in digital education overseas, NetDragon has actively responded to the "Belt and Road" initiative, establishing strategic cooperation with more than 20 countries, including Russia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Kenya, and Serbia. In recent years, under the initiative of Fujian Department of Education, "Luban in the North, Maritime Silk Road in the South", NetDragon will develop a number of "Maritime Silk Road Academy" and "Chinese + Vocational Education" brands, driving the strategy of vocational education “going global”.

 

 

 

Relying on NetDragon's own products, technologies, resources, and capabilities, and supported by the specialized courses and industry schools of Fuzhou Software Technology Vocational College, NetDragon launched the "Vocational Education Overseas Comprehensive Solution". This solution develops various international vocational education standards, teaching resources, and educational equipment, trains professional teaching staff, and builds vocational schools with a high level of internationalization. The company aims to create internationally influential professional standards, course standards, and high-quality teaching resources, pushing for vocational schools to "go global along with enterprises".

In the first year of the new decade of the "Belt and Road" cooperation, NetDragon has signed MOUs with several universities in Thailand. The company will jointly establish "NetDragon Academy" with overseas institutions, offering programs in esports, game design, and online live-streaming and operations. Simultaneously, NetDragon will collaborate on the establishment of the "Maritime Silk Road Academy" with overseas universities, working closely on academic programs, faculty and student exchanges, joint research, and cultural projects. The "Maritime Silk Road Academy" will also provide important templates and experiences for Chinese enterprises' overseas expansion and international talent cultivation, helping enterprises develop professionals with global perspectives and skills, and laying the foundation for their international growth.

 

In addition, NetDragon has partnered with several overseas universities, including Srinakharinwirot University in Thailand, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and Business & Hotel Management School in Switzerland, to continuously promote Sino-foreign cooperative education. They are focusing on deep cooperation in areas such as joint program development, credit recognition, and faculty exchange and training, advancing the international development of vocational education.

 

In the future, NetDragon's vocational education overseas project will further enrich the "Vocational Education Overseas Comprehensive Solution", build an international learning resource platform at Fuzhou Software Technology Vocational College, and deepen international cooperation in education. The project will enhance the influence and cultural soft power of Chinese vocational education while increasing exchanges with overseas universities to build an overseas high-quality talent pool, contributing to the international development of vocational education.
