NetDragon Announces Strategic Plan to Develop AI Education Platform with Support by MHESI

On July 25th, NetDragon, together with its local operator, EDA (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (“EDA (Thailand)”), announced a strategic initiative in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation ("MHESI") to revolutionize education in Thailand. The partnership unveiled a state-of-the-art AI-powered education platform, aom.ai (to be released at the end of this year), at the "MHESI Fair SCI Power for Future Thailand", a prestigious event organized by the MHESI and held from July 22 to 28 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok.

Dr. Simon Leung, Vice Chairman of NetDragon, stated, "As a leader in global technology and education innovation, NetDragon has spent over a decade developing comprehensive solutions that encompass hardware, software, and education platforms. Our dedication has positioned us as a key player in the digital transformation of education, with our products benefiting over 150 million users across 192 countries. We are thrilled to bring our advanced educational technologies to Thailand, supporting our vision of creating the world's largest learning community."

The core of this collaboration is the new platform, aom-ai, which aims to personalize the educational experience through advanced AI technology. Dr. Leung added, "Powered by an AI-driven teaching model, the aom-ai platform can adjust to individual learning styles, enhancing knowledge retention and engagement. This platform not only supports professional training but also extends into lifelong learning, ensuring that education in Thailand is accessible, effective, and tailored to meet the needs of learners."

Mr. Natasak Rodjanapiches, Executive Director of EDA (Thailand), highlighted the platform's local impact, stating, "Aom-ai signifies a major breakthrough in learning technology, merging NetDragon's technological expertise with EDA (Thailand)'s deep understanding of the local context. This platform will support self-paced learning, provide accredited certifications, and promote a culture of continuous education, which is crucial for career advancement in the digital age. Through aom-ai, we are equipping Thai citizens not only to participate but to excel in the digital economy."

At the MHESI Fair, the NetDragon and EDA (Thailand) booth features two distinct zones: the Immersive Learning Zone and the Independent Learning Zone. The Independent Learning Zone showcases the aom-ai platform and how it provides AI teacher support for lifelong learning. Meanwhile, the Immersive Learning Zone displays a range of global technologies from the NetDragon family, including solutions from Promethean and Rokid AI, as well as a 360-degree VR gaming chair to offer visitors a comprehensive experience.
