NetDragon Doubles Down on Education Mission with Mass Swearing-In Ceremony

Thousands Vow Forward Progress through Trying Times

On July 1st, over 1,000 staff at NetDragon's Changle campus in Fuzhou took a solemn oath beneath the national flag at a stirring ceremony. Led by Chairman and education PhD Liu Dejian, the crowd proudly pledged their talents to the country's youth, promising to "devote all our wisdom and strength to the cause of education."

NetDragon leans on cutting-edge tech and knowledge to boost the sector through specialized, quality development and lifelong learning. Most employees have education backgrounds - like Chairman Dr. Liu, who holds a PhD in Education from Beijing Normal University and was recently accepted to Tsinghua's prestigious Engineering Doctorate program focused on Innovation Leadership in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao.

"We approach this mission with utmost seriousness," said Dr. Simon Leung, also Vice Chairman of NetDragon and CEO of subsidiary Elernity in his remarks. As a tech-fueled edtech company, NetDragon has increasingly advanced the field through AI, VR, 3D, big data and other innovations - achieving notable results. Dr. Leung discussed plans to promote AI in classrooms through interactive displays.

Following the rousing oaths, a true giant of a national flag - spanning over 600 square meters - was slowly unfurled to cheers. The electricity in the air made it clear these 1,000+ believed in using their innovations to empower China's youth and fuel its future success. For NetDragon's devoted staff, this patriotic moment underscored their dedication to supporting education through technology.

The swearing-in ceremony at NetDragon featured a prominent bloc of party members called the "Red Phalanx". Sources say 60% of senior and middle managers at the edtech firm belong to China's Communist Party, along with over 65% of tech breakthrough leaders. Young party recruits have played a key pioneering role in NetDragon's strategy to spread digital learning across China.

On the same day, NetDragon's Party Committee held an event themed "Celebrating the Founding of the CPC". Members studied top government priorities around building educational strength through the company's virtual "Digital Party Building Academy". They revisited party pledges and explored tech like virtual reality simulations of the Chinese Red Army and a slideshow of party history. Through these immersive lessons and reflections on the past, insiders say members deepened their understanding of how vital education is to China's strategic aims.

NetDragon has consistently answered the Communist Party's call, leveraging innovation to help modernize schooling through cutting-edge technologies - supporting efforts to establish a robust education system. Additionally, to boost its educators' skills and knowledge for shaping the future of learning, NetDragon kicked off its first ever "Elernity Cup Intelligence Quiz" on July 1st. They also brought in Chen Guangju, deputy director of Beijing Normal University, to share his insights on innovative education models. Hands-on activities were also organized at the 101 Art & Design Center and the China Fujian VR Experience Center to spark creative ideas. The goal was to fuel inspiration through exchanging ideas and sparking new ways of thinking among educators.

"Most excitingly," added Dr. Leung, "NetDragon's edtech business will soon list on the New York Stock Exchange, a major milestone." With AI's huge potential in classrooms, NetDragon remains at the cutting edge of integrating AI into lessons in practical ways. They've already developed specific product plans to soon roll out new AI-powered interactive panels fueling future-focused learning.
