NetDragon and M.U.S.T. Jointly Established Digital Innovation and Humanities Education Research Center Launch Ceremony and Project Signing Conference Successfully Held
On March 20, the launch ceremony of the Digital Innovation and Humanities Education Research Center jointly established by NetDragon and Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.) was grandly held at M.U.S.T. in a combination of online and offline ways. Dr. Tong Ka Lok, Vice President of M.U.S.T., Mr. Lin Tong, Vice President of NetDragon and Co-Deputy Director of the Digital Innovation and Humanities Education Research Center, Professor Zhang Zhiqing, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts of M.U.S.T. and Director of the Digital Innovation and Humanities Education Research Center, and Professor Yin Hong, Dean of Academy of Film of M.U.S.T., attended the launch ceremony.

Professor Zhang Zhiqing, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts of M.U.S.T. and Director of the Digital Innovation and Humanities Education Research Center, stated in his speech that the Digital Innovation Center was built with the support of Vice President Tong Ka Lok and Dr. Liu Dejian, Chairman of NetDragon. Based on the forefront of international digital technology development, the center will assist in the development of university education and empower the digital development of education and industries in Macau and the Greater Bay Area through basic applied research and interdisciplinary integration. In the future, the Digital Innovation Center will collaborate deeply with digital laboratories of universities such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Shandong University, as well as relevant institutions such as JP UNIVERSE. The future development will be full of vitality, creativity, and imagination.

At the launch ceremony, the Faculty of Humanities and Arts of M.U.S.T. and NetDragon signed two cooperation agreements to jointly build the "Film and Game IP Integrated Innovation Practice Base" and develop the online course on “New Media and Short Video". Vice President Tong Ka Lok, Vice President Lin Tong, Dean Zhang Zhiqing, and Dean Yin Hong witnessed the signing.

In addition, Ms. Yang Shaomeng, Project Director of NetDragon Digital Education Town, and Ms. Huang Ying, Assistant Professor of Academy of Film of M.U.S.T., jointly launched an AI based New Audiovisual Creation Competition for college students. The competition is jointly presented by the Academy of Film of M.U.S.T and NetDragon's global online smart learning platform Edmodo Academy, and aims to collect original short video works from all over the country. In addition to providing bonuses, winners of the competition will also be invited to participate in the NetDragon Training Camp and the award ceremony at the M.U.S.T. Youth Film Festival. The award-winning excellent works will be showcased to more learners around the world through the online smart learning platform Edmodo Academy.

Guests from academia and relevant industries, as well as students from the doctoral program in digital media and film management, participated in a roundtable forum on "Artificial Intelligence, Digital Life, and Virtual Reality", where they engaged in multidimensional discussions on the impact of the booming artificial intelligence on human society.
